Out of print for six years, Surf’s Up! has been bringing ridiculous prices on eBay and through rare book dealers – often as much as several hundred dollars! Recently, though, the rights to the book reverted to the author, and he's returned it to print.

The new printing includes everything found in previous editions and is in the same 6" x 9" format. But while previous printings were hardbacks, the new printing features a laminated softcover binding. The cover change was made to keep the book's price down in the face of rising printing costs.
